Hello Hexabim,

I am looking for parametric BIM objects that are able to change LODs and sizing while integrating all the data I need (related to my projects).
As easy as it is to find BIM objects as fixed as purely infographic objects, it is also difficult to find truly parametric objects.
Also another question on the same subject, why platforms do not share the IFC format which is THE BIM format par excellence since it is standardized, sustainable and common to all?

Hello,

What software solution (s) are you using?
For Allplan, Vectorworks and Archicad, the libraries provided by these editors make it possible to meet your expectations without the contribution of specific external resources, including for the injection of data.
The answer to your question depends greatly on the software (s) used.

Thank you Christophe Fortineau
I worked on Revit and now on Archicad mainly but my question is about a BIM object quite simply and not an object stuck on software. An owner object is not a BIM object since it is blocked in an environment and not shareable, not durable because it depends on a version of software, etc. ...
I indeed have the impression that publishers have plenty of ways of approaching this subject and sometimes offer shared resources and sometimes not at all, but no BIM object resources that can be shared universally between software that I know of while this principle of shared resources seem a general wish of all BIMers and BIMers.
Or I'm missing the point ... Maybe!
this principle of shared resources seems a general wish of all BIMers and BIMers.
