Thank you for your help. I tested it and watch it. I'm going to do a mix of the two plus another approach. The goal is to have one color per type. Your script gives me one color per element.

If I am not mistaken, it neither had one connector to move. It's corrected.

I do not know. I still can't do it. I try with an excel sheet which determines the colors by type in RGB. I just feel like I'm turning the solution around to make it happen. I just want a predefined color per window type.

Hi

My previous script does not always work correctly (However, it seemed to me ...).

If you want to indicate the colors in an Excel file, see another possibility as an attachment:
* a small Excel file (In the first column, you must list all the types of windows used, in the 4th, 5th and 6th, the RGB values (to be specified by hand, or with the custom function defined in the module 1, according to the filling of column B)

* The script (You can use the "Write of all types ..." part, but normally it should be frozen or deleted). You must of course modify the access path to the Excel file used, by clicking on browse.

* The rvt file that I used as a test.

Hi

It seems that there are sometimes problems with the Category node, when changing Dynamo version, as reported by Ahmed Halim (the author of the book "Dynamo for Autodesk Revit") on this forum. To get around it, you can use this solution:
Code Block "Windows" -> Category.ByName

Thanks for the advice. I have the book. Too bad it is too construction oriented. I am more interested in the analysis of digital models training construction economists.
