Hello,

For a project, the contracting authority asks us for a digital model with a Uniformat II ™ ASTM 2015 classification system, including the 4th level (of this type: https://www.wbdg.org/FFC/VA/VACOST/triservicemoduniformat.pdf). Except I can only find .xml files with 3 levels (downloaded from the Abvent site).

I looked at how to edit the .xml file myself (via Notepad) but although possible it will take me some time ...

So I turn to the community to know if anyone would know where I could find this file or how to create it faster ...

Thanking you in advance, I wish you a nice day!
Sincerely,
Alyss

Hello,

Unless I am mistaken, the 4th level of the Uniformat is not defined consistently in its numbering ...

Le Graphisoft website offers a version in XML format level 4:

[*] A Substructure
[*] A10 Foundations
[*] A1010 Standard Foundations
[*] A1011 Wall foundation

However, this version is different from the one you are offering.

Hello Alice,

If the project owner requires this structuring then it is also able to offer you the ad hoc "template". Is it a public or private project owner?
Even if I realize the same observation as Sylvain Josserand, faced with this type of request, I systematically question the final recipient of the BIM deliverables or their AMO. Either this request is based on a structured need in which case the MOA will easily send you the required xml, or it is an unreasonable request which you would probably not be forced to respect.

Please tell us the end of the story!
